The scheduled boys basketball game for tomorrow 12/30th, has been cancelled. The girls will play Ridgeway at 3 P.M. but the boys WILL NOT play tomorrow.
All games will be played at Huntington.

On Wednesday, December 13th, Ms. Emily Sibley's CJ classes and Ms. Pennies Santiago's spanish classes took a field trip to Carroll County General Sessions Court and Mi Publito Mexican Restaurant. Students were engaged and had the opportunity to ask questions to the Honorable Judge Michael King. They practiced their Spanish skills when ordering their lunch as well!
5th Grade Dare Graduation took place today at Clarksburg School. In attendance were Sheriff Dickson, Chief Deputy Pate, Investigator Adams, Investigator Meggs, Mr. Ervin, and Dr. Norris.
We are very proud of our entire 5th grade class for completing the Dare program.

Attention Parents: High school students who are exempt from final exams will be dismissed at 12 noon tomorrow. They must have a written note from their parent or guardian to leave campus. We will not accept text messages or calls from parents for early dismissal.
BioSTEM I students have been working hard at having fun while learning new techniques and exploring special investigations. Our investigations included: determining which sample of juice contained the most vitamin C and the reappearing Christmas tree. The new techniques we explored were operating a centrifuge and pouring, sectioning, and streaking a Petri dish.

Here are the activites for next week at Clarksburg School Monday will be "Channel your Flannel" - Wear Flannel Tuesday will be " Holiday Festive" - Wear you favorite holiday shirts, socks and accessories Wednesday will be "Christmas Character Day" - Dress in appropriate attire - Grinch, Elf, Rudolph, Frosty etc... Thursday will be "Sweater Weather" - Wear your ugly Christmas sweaters and sweatshirts Friday will be "Twas the Night Before Christmas Break or Long Winters Nap" - Wear your Christmas pajamas (no slippers or house shoes) Let's all celebrate finishing the first half of the school year. It was a great first half of the school year!
On Thursday, December 7th, Ms. Emily Sibley's CJ classes hosted guest speaker TBI Special Agent(Ret.) Stephen Phelps. SA Phelps retired from the TBI after 31 years of service, 48 years total in law enforcement. SA Phelps led students through a virtual tour of TBI headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, and held a question and answer session for students after the tour.
