6 Clarksburg students attended the Tennessee Future Business Leaders of America Conference this week in Chattanooga. The entire team represented the District very well. Justin Moore and Cash Craig competed in their first Marketing event as Freshmen. Addison Milan ranked in the top 20 in Personal Finance. Alyssa Belew ranked 8th in the State in the Personal Finance competition. She is currently 4th Alternate for the National Competition. Chloe Rae Crum and Gracie Moore ranked 5th in the State for their Sales Presentation. They are currently 1st Alternates for Nationals. Jayanna Martin qualified for the National Personal Finance competition by ranking 3rd in the State. The National Competition will be held in Orlando, Florida in July. Professionalism and academic success are being cultivated at Clarksburg High School.

Our CHS freshmen are touring the University of Memphis-Lambuth campus, they are exploring all avenues of becoming successful students.

On April 27th the Clarksburg Art Department will host the 2nd Annual Clarksburg School Art Show.
The art projects will be displayed on Saturday, April 27th in the cafeteria from 1:00-3:00 pm. This exhibition will showcase Clarksburg students' art work from grades Kindergarten-8th grade.

ACT News. Juniors will take the ACT tomorrow Tuesday April 9th, from 8:00 a.m. until their assigned lunch time. Be sure the chrome book is charged up and ready to use on the test.

The Advanced Manufacturing Class wanted to showcase the two combination picnic and game tables they have been working on.

Ms. Lindsey's BioSTEM I students practiced engineering design using household items to construct a stethoscope, then scientific inquiry to establish which materials were most effective in transferring the sound.










Four Clarksburg students from each grade had the opportunity to compete in the West TN middle school math competition at UT Martin today.

When: Tuesday, May 7, 2024 @ 6:00 p.m.
Where: Clarksburg School Old Gym
Our meal this year will be provided by Chick-Fil-A. We will have meal boxes that include your choice of a chicken sandwich or 8 ct. nuggets, waffle chips, and brownie or cookie.
There is no charge for athletes and coaches; however, if parents wish to purchase a meal, the cost will be $8.00/box.

Ms. Jay’s Physics class designed and constructed four super ultra racing scribble bots. At this time Yellow-1 is the scribble bot champion, but a redesign of the other bots might change the outcome for future scribble bot races.

The Clarksburg High School Cheerleading squad is putting on the first Miss South Carroll Beauty Pageant. It is open to all individuals outside and inside of Clarksburg School. This pageant is also a prelim for the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival for age divisions: 6-9, 10-12, 13-15, and 16-21.


As our 8th grade students prepare to make their high school schedules this month, today they had the opportunity today to tour the TCAT McKenzie Campus. They learned about the various opportunities and programs of study that are available to them post graduation.
